Resources

Simply listening to sermons or reading books is not the same as following Jesus.  It is possible to know much about God without knowing God.  With that said, however, reading and listening to godly brothers who are farther along the path can encourage us to follow hard after Christ.  We hope these resources will be a blessing to you.

The Gospel

Why is it important to study the Gospel? Doesn’t every believer already understand the Gospel? Every Christian has repented and believed the Gospel. It is simple enough for a small child to understand, and yet we should always be growing in our understanding of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we increasingly see what Christ has done for us, it will cause us to worship Him. And as we understand the cross and the Gospel more clearly, it will preserve us from the many false gospels being preached in our day. We trust these resources will be a blessing to you.

Helpful Websites

Someone has said that it is better to read and learn much from a few brothers that you deeply respect, rather than to read the conflicting opinions of so many men.  The following brothers and websites have been immensely helpful for us, and we hope that they will be a blessing for you as well.

SermonIndex

The mission of SermonIndex is the preservation and propagation of classical Biblical preaching and the promotion of genuine Biblical revival to this generation. SermonIndex features sermons by A. W. Tozer, Zac Poonen, Paul Washer, Leonard Ravenhill, Paris Reidhead, Andrew Murray, John Piper, and more.

HeartCry Missionary Society

A missionary society with one great and overriding passion: that God’s Name be great among the nations (Mal. 1:11) and that the Lamb receive the full reward for His suffering (Rev. 7:9-10). It’s founder, Paul Washer, is an American brother whose emphasis is on the loss of the true gospel in American Christendom. His passion is that we would understand and preach the true gospel once again.

Radical

Radical.net includes sermons from David Platt and other helpful resources from Brook Hills Church. David Platt, formerly pastor of Brook Hills Church in Birmingham, Alabama, is now the President of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. His emphasis is on making disciples in the area around us and around the world.

Joshua Project

Joshua Project is a research initiative seeking to highlight the ethnic people groups of the world with the fewest followers of Christ. Accurate, regularly updated ethnic people group information is critical for understanding and completing the Great Commission.
